What Is Dark Mode?
Dark Mode is a feature that allows iOS 13 users to view their iPhone screens with a darker color scheme. With Dark Mode, the iOS system uses a darker color palette for all of your screens, apps, views, menus, and controls. Because the darker backgrounds can make some components hard to see, the Dark Mode system also adds vibrancy to make foreground content stand out.
Apple customers use Dark Mode for a variety of reasons, but most often because it decreases the emphasis on UI elements and increases the emphasis on content. Dark Mode also uses less power due to advances in screen technologies, such as organic light-emitting diode (OLED).
How Can You Use Dark Mode?
If your phone is updated to iOS 13, turning on Dark Mode is a breeze. Simply:
- Go to Settings.
- Go To Display & Brightness.
- Select Dark.
You can turn Dark Mode on from your Control Center by pulling down from the top right corner of your screen, holding down the brightness control, and tapping either Dark Mode On or Dark Mode Off.
You can even have Dark Mode automatically turn on at sunset or a time of your choice. Simply:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Display & Brightness.
- Select Automatic.
- Tap Options and choose your schedule.
How Can You Use Dark Mode with the Heymarket App?
As soon as you update the Heymarket app through the Apple Store, the app will be able to support Dark Mode if you choose to use it.
How Will Dark Mode Affect Your Heymarket App Performance?
Heymarket’s new Dark Mode support will not affect your experience with the Heymarket app unless you choose to switch your entire iOS system to Dark Mode. Because the Heymarket app can support the iOS Dark Mode now, you will experience a seamless transition when tapping from your iPhone screen to your Heymarket app screen.
Once inside the Heymarket app, you can expect the same, streamline app performance as usual—just in a new color palette.
